Thanks so much for visiting my Blog.

Due to circumstances beyond my control I have not been able to visit other’s Blogs as often as I would have liked, that is for sure.  I started visiting other’s Blogs today, and I have been blown away by what I have found to read and see there.    I could mention so many things I have read and learned just from today’s visits.

Yesterday was a day when I was feeling somewhat down and overwhelmed.

Today, however, I go and visit Heine Wentzel’s Blog, among others,  (Rod MacBeth’s Great Blog), and read his posting about Failing Forward, and watch the amazing video he downloaded to his site  from YouTube.  It is so uplifting and I absolutely loved his posting.

He said, “If you can associate with failing and this kind of “feeling down” and you need to get out of it real quick, watch this video. You WILL get up.

You will not mind failing forward fast.”

I Love Living Life. I Am Happy.

Truly an amazing person.

This followed on after late yesterday, following my “down day” that  I went to the video shop to see what videos they had available and was blown away by the fact a film had now been made about Christian the Lion, his life with John Rendall and Ace Berg, his previous owners, how he came to be owned by them, how he came to go back to Africa and how they all had an amazing Reunion a year later.  Not to spoil the story here is a clip of that Reunion.

When I saw it last year tears came to my eyes.  It is an amazing story of love both from the Lion and his

owners.  Please watch!

If you get a chance to get this Movie out, it is out now on Video and well worth viewing to hear and see this magnificent story in its entirety.

Heine got me thinking too about achievement and “success” as did a posting Rich made I read about what makes a leader which also brings to mind what brings about “success?”

I am so glad I am reading other people’s blogs and watched these videos.

They have really uplifted me and given me the courage to continue to move forward.

Thanks everyone and I will be visiting more Blogs over the next few days.

As I was saying, I was feeling overwhelmed yesterday and these videos and Blog readings have assisted me, as well as going back to my Plan and reviewing it and re-prioritising what I was doing and when.

I have sent out emails to potential Joint Ventures for my launch of my product auctionstrategiesexplained.com for the 22nd September.  I already have several great Joint Venture partners that have come on board, which I am truly excited about.

I have created an Affiliate’s page for 75% commission and it is located through a link at the bottom of the Home page of auctionstrategiesexplained.com – ebay should definitely form a part of our income – another stream of income – as it is an easy, cheap one to begin, which gives back profits almost immediately, which is what my product explains, how to do this all quickly and easily.

I absolutely love Marketing online.

Those who have followed some of my journey so far are aware of the fact I lost my teaching career to a freak accident and spent the majority of 6 years in hospital.

We became a 1 income family almost overnight, with legal, hospital, mortgage, cost of living bills to try to meet on one income but with commitments to the necessity for 2.  Our whole life changed forever the day I had the accident.  We had teenage children to bring up also with all their needs as well as had my Mum living with us who also developed Alzheimer’s.

During the last few years our needs for extra income became even greater and our ability to cover costs became even harder and harder.

I went on a journey of Network Marketing where I did quite well indeed, but, and I have written of this before, decided for several reasons this was not the journey I wanted to continue on.

On my better health days I investigated Internet Marketing as I love the computer, learning and teaching and, as I have disabilities, felt this would be a good way for me to assist with the family income and costs as I could stay seated at my computer.

Sadly, I was to be taken on a con road where many thousands we really did not have were invested and I tried my hardest to put them in to practice to help change our lives and circumstances, but, in these initial programs the sellers appeared to have been more interested in filling their own bank accounts and were no where to be found to assist and support when obstacles to further success arose.  On to the shelf they went.

Disheartened, and even more financially in problems than before, but still believing there were honest marketers out there that did want to build genuine relationships, and really did care about my online marketing success, I kept searching.

I have now found great marketers, mentors and friends I have aligned myself with and that I have complete and utter faith in.  They are there to guide me step-by-step, support me, and genuinely care about my success.  I am so grateful, eternally, to John Thornhill, Alex Jeffreys, Tony Sharpe, Avril Harper, Daniel Sumner and last, but definitely not least, Dave Nicholson.  They have restored my faith in humanity and I have learned so much from all of them.  I know I have much more still to learn but that is great and I am looking forwards to continuing this amazing journey with them.

I found there was much to learn, and I was happy to do so, as I love learning.

However, I needed money not only to invest in the programs of these new trusted mentors and marketers, but to put in to saving our home and paying all our bills etc.

I had paid out an enormous amount for eBay information over the last couple of years or so and really looked at this as a money-making option closely.

I excitedly found this was something I could do and was ecstatic to realise I would be paid real money for doing so almost immediately.

I found I was listing things from around the home and averaging around $400 to $500 a week.  This was exciting, and the money was money we really needed.

I feel that in the current financial climate, having a way to earn extra money without too much effort, and fairly quickly, then eBay is definitely a way to go.  It has the largest amount of potential online shoppers in the world, with millions of people buying on eBay every single day.  It is also a way to head towards a full-time income and quit your JOB if that is what you would like to be able to do.  The income earned can also go towards investing in learning other online marketing strategies if that is what one desires to do.  eBay is also another great option towards creating multiple streams of income.

That is where my book AuctionStrategiesExplained.com came in to being.

I wanted to share how easily I was able to start and earn good money fast without having to invest the enormous amount of money I had invested in to learning how to do this, and that was not overwhelming information, but rather succinctly summarised in to an eBook for easy reading and learning .

I also wanted AuctionStrategiesExplained to be a quality eBook, and have unique contents not often seen elsewhere.

I would like to welcome you to my Blog!

I continue to learn and grow on my journey to learn how to be successful with online Internet Marketing. I love this, as I love learning and sharing what I have learned with others.

I am working hard to put my blog together so it will really benefit you the readers.  I have great plans for my blog so please stay tuned.

I have aligned myself with some wonderful, clever people in the online marketing world.

Whereas I went on a big, expensive, journey for a couple of years, I have now found the people I trust to learn from.

They include Tony Sharpe Internet Marketer extraordinaire, Avril Harper and John Thornhill eBay PowerSellers and Internet Marketers, Daniel Sumner and Dave Nicholson – Internet Marketers extraordinaire and part of John Thornhill’s team, Steve Barrows brilliant graphics and website graphics etc designer from planet-divinity and the fabulous Alex Jeffreys and his fantastic support person Garry Parkes.

Alex is my Mentor, as is John Thornhill.

I have learned much from them.  I knew absolutely blot, zilch even though I had spent an absolute fortune we did not have over the last 2 years+ trying to learn how to make an income online.  I spent thousands on an eBay course as well as on Internet Marketing programs etc.  What I found was the people took my money and that was the last I heard of them.  They were not there for support or assistance of any kind at all.  As I was entering in to a new world, a world that uses a completely different language than the one I was used to there was much to learn.  I am an extremely self-motivated person and when I am passionate about something I will give it my heart and soul.  But when I did and hit stumbling blocks and there was noone there to assist you over the hurdles, the programs went back on the shelf.

This was until I met the people I have mentioned above.  They are there for you.  They and their teams help you over the hurdles.  Things I just didn’t understand I now do understand.  I know I have much, much more to learn, but that is great as I love learning very much.  More importantly I love sharing with other people what I have learned.

I have learned so much thanks to those people, things I am going to share with you over time.

To show you some of what I have learned :-how  to register a domain name, get a host, edit DNS settings, wait for DNS settings to propagate, setup an email account for my new domain name, registered that new email address, registered with ClickBank, set up my FTP – FileZilla and know how to use it, created my blog which has come a long way but still has more to go, learned how to use WordPress for my blog, how to create categories, how to create links, how to insert audio, video and images, how to post to my blog,  registered with Google adsense, downloaded blog themes, extracted those files, how to add adsense to my blog, how to upload themes and change them, how to register with aWeber, created a list, how to edit confirmation settings, how to set up welcome emails, how to get my aweber code and blog codes and add them to my blog, how to add the header and footer graphics to my blog that you can see on my blog, how to remove titles from banners, how to customise and remove RSS button, how to backup my blog and how to upgrade my blog, how to remove adsense from posts, how to add YouTube videos, how to set up my own YouTube station, how to find my niche to write my first ebook about, named my product so I could purchase the domain name of the same name, worked out what kind of graphics and ordered them, drafted my ebook, arranged the chapters, wrote it myself, added hyperlinks, complete audio reading of eBook. automatically loading audio readings of each individual page, how to embed videos in to my eBook , embedded several help, support and training videos, how to use Camtasia studio, added camtasia studio videos, how to add graphics and pictures, checklists and homework, screenshots,  how to convert it to pdf, created my own sales page with all the relevant sections, how to create the sales page in XSite Pro 2, how to save the website, basic html skills and how and when to use them, gathered testimonials and inserted them, added a guarantee, sourced and added appropriate bonus products, created a 7 day mini course and an optin for this, created a new list for my potential customers in aWeber, got the HTML code, added a confirmation email, added the mini course to aWeber, ordered opt-in graphics that matched the theme of my site, added those graphics, edited the aWeber code, created an Affiliate page, added Affiliate material, added the aWeber code and optin to the Affiliate’s page, added the Affiliate’s page to the main template for my website, created download and thank you pages, added my product to Clickbank, my contact details to ClickBank, added links to the Affiliate page, uploaded and tested everything, made a test order (it all worked hallelujah!), applied for ClickBank approval which I received (the only thing I needed to do for them was add a disclaimer for eBay).

I have also learned about Profit Pulling Platforms, ListBuilding With Alex, how to put Google Analytics on all my sites, faster Google indexing tactics, traffic techniques – forums, articles, press releases, blogging, twitter, giveaways, eBay, Viral Marketing, Joint Ventures, Social Media, YouTube Videos, Traffic Geyser, Maria Andros Video Marketing and so much more….

This first one is the Welcome To My Blog Video.  I am going to eventually have that at the top of my Blog.

The second is my Video for my soon to be released eBook

I still have so many things I need and want to do.

I definitely love writing and so will be creating many articles about my niche areas associated with my products and websites and submitting them to Article Directories.

I will definitely be creating more videos.

I want to be able to get in to the Forums and share and learn more.

I have joined Twitter and need to continue to learn to use it properly so I can answer all the great people who have twittered me and are following me.  I need to contact the ones I have chosen to follow, so if I have not responded to you yet it is only because I have not found out quite how to do that yet nor have the time to do so but it is on my To Do List to do so.

I need to add things to my blog as well as visit other people’s blogs and leave my comments for them.  If I have not done so it is not because I do not want to.

On my journey I have also been quite ill for several months as well as I have conditions from 2 previous accidents.  When I have available time those issues have not affected me I have spent the time in learning and applying all the above.

I am going to be asking for people who will be my Joint Venture partners for my product launch.  I already have some great people who have said they will do so.

I am going to spend this afternoon adding to my optin box on my blog which has gone a little awry and hopefully will be fixed tomorrow.  I am going to add a statement about 7 keys to online marketing success and create those 7 items and add them to my aWeber so people can have access to this for FREE.

I also will be adding my Video welcome to my blog, and visiting other people’s blogs.  I will be going in to Twitter and answering the great people who have Twittered me.

I have been reading Alex Jeffrey’s books.  I have finished Milk the eBay Cash Cow and also the brilliant Newbie’s Nightmares.   I am about to start Guru’s Dream.  I have watched all of his ListBuilding Videos and been part of every Webinar that has been run.

I believe Experience Is The Greatest Teacher.  I believe in aligning yourself with great Mentors and Coaches and learning from them and sharing that learning with others.

I am looking forward excitedly to continue to work with them and learn from them and share this information with those who stay with me for my journey and what a journey it will be….

What a challenge!  I have been on a journey to be able to centralise pictures and videos in to my postings.

I have had some very helpful people who have taken time to assist me.

I have been told by excellent, and skilled sources, it was not my issue but, apparently a glitch in my WordPress.  No wonder I was experiencing issues.

I went in to Word Press to ask their support and had a person respond but it did not work.

I have had some really top marketers working on how to fix this problem.  I am so grateful to them all.

I used to have no problems doing this before, so goodness knows what happened!

Thanks heaps Daniel Sumner and Dave Nicholson for your time to solve my problem.

Let me try putting a picture in now and see what occurs.

I don’t know if you have had a similar issue but this issue is now fixed for me and if you have the same issue maybe I can assist.  Just click on the Contact Me button to the right of my postings and I will see if the simple code I was given that works for me, could work for you too.

I am blown away by the amount of traffic that is visiting my blog now.  It has grown over the last few days.

I am also continuing to create Articles and submit them to the Article Directories.  Being a teacher, I love writing and have found it to be an excellent way of expressing my thoughts, ideas, feelings etc.   I am creating Articles on Blogging, ListBuilding and eBay.

I have joined Twitter and have quite a number of followers as well as people I am following.  It is all quite new to me, but I am learning, and am definitely in a far better place of understanding Internet Marketing, Traffic Generation, List Building techniques, SEO, Blogging, You Tube, Video Marketing and so many other things, than I was a few months ago.

I am thoroughly enjoying the learning journey.

I am grateful to all the people who have assisted me to grow this much.  Thanks to John Thornhill, Alex Jeffreys, Tony Sharpe, Daniel Sumner, Dave Nicholson, Steve Barrows, Avril Harper, Garry Parkes.

I now want so much to go in and read my fellow team members’ blogs, which I will be doing over the next few days.

I am soon to launch my first eBook and own website for that eBook.  I have lodged for ClickBank approval and it was explained to us not to be disheartened if ClickBank got back to you with changes that needed to be made before they would take the product on.  We were explained that most products had to be revised in some way or the other and to just do what they asked of you and resubmit.

I was so hesitant about all of this, that I didn’t put my work to ClickBank for quite a few days.

I hadn’t had any reply so I rang them and was told there was an email coming to me.

I kept looking in ClickBank and it said it was still waiting approval.   As I am on the other side of the world to where ClickBank is, I worried all night about this email and how many changes I needed to make to my site.

I was blown away by the fact I only had to add a phrase to the bottom of my main page and Thank You page that is a Disclaimer to do with eBay.  I was ecstatic.  Everything else was ok.   I have really put a lot of work and time in to this eBook and website.  I have included an audio Interview in my eBook, (and also a snippet of it on my website),  I was so fortunate to be able to have had with eBay PowerSeller John Thornhill which is fantastic.

I love learning and sharing what I have learned with others.

I have decided I am going to conquer 1 method at a time of generating visitors to my site and building strong relationships.

Early next week I am going to be creating a video to put on YouTube.

I will keep you updated on how I am going with everything.

Hi…

I spent last week not well at all with a dreaded “bug”.

During that time I learned a lot about the power of Social Networking for building friendships, business relationships etc.  I plan on looking at these more closely – Twitter, FaceBook and YouTube.   I plan to create videos for my Blog, my eBook site and the internet- marketingbootcamp at You Tube.

I am growing as an online marketer and learning exciting new things every day.  It is really very exciting as I am really passionate about  learning and teaching.

Before I go on to talking about what I am doing in the way of  Social Marketing, Internet Marketing, eBay and Traffic Generation I was sitting here looking at a photo my son sent to me.

I can honestly say I feel absolutely blessed.  I know I am definitely married to one of the greatest men on Earth – Bruce Harridge.xxxxx

Greatest Bloke On Earth!

I met Bruce the weekend before the October long weekend in 1969.  He was a blind date, set up by my friend at Teachers’ College.  We hit it off immediately, became engaged in the January of 1970 and married in August 1970, only a few months later.

It is almost our 39th Wedding Anniversary – on the 22nd August, in a few short days.  He is an excellent husband and has been a fabulous father to our children.

Talking of our children – Christopher 27 (prefers to be called Chris) and our daughter Caroline 24, I would like to share a little about them.

We are extremely proud of them.  They went through much during my illness and hospitalisation and have come out trumps.xxxx

What A Ring!

One week later, on the 11th July, Chris and his Michelle had their baby son Riley James Harridge born.  How exciting!   Riley is Bruce’s and my first grandchild.   This is a picture of Riley only 12 hours after birth, actually taken on the same day he was born.  He is the spitting image of Chris when Chris was a baby.  Isn’t he beautiful?

Proud Grandma Or What??!!

It is an unbelievable feeling to be a grandparent.  It is the most rewarding experience to be a parent.  I have to keep pinching myself to know that it is real.  Parenting definitely comes with its ups and downs but I would never change the gift I was given to have had that wonderful experience.  Your love just grows more and more every single day.  But when you see your own child look at their child with such amazing, genuine love and devotion, this is a totally indescribable feeling and one that definitely brings me to tears.  Michelle and Caroline’s Chris do not like their photos being taken but I will get one of each of them one day soon and share them with you too.

Our son Chris is already an unbelievably hands-on Dad and I know he will continue to be the very best Dad imaginable.  Lucky Riley!  Lucky us too!

My Mum has Alzheimer’s – a horrible disease.  She lived with us for several years and sadly, during that time, Alzheimer’s appeared slowly.  Sadly she went in to a Nursing Home a few years ago but she I know she does recognise and know me.  She occasionally is even able to communicate with me in sentences. I visit her almost every single day.

Riley is her first great grandchild.  I spoke with the Nursing Home – Edinglassie at Emu Plains NSW, as to the fact I would love to have a photo of her with Baby Riley, Chris, Caroline and me – 4 generations.  Sadly the day we organised this for, Caroline was not able to be there. The Nursing Home is a brilliant one and they have looked after my mother fantastically – the Nursing Staff are fabulous and headed by the wonderful Susan Patterson.  I am so glad my Mum is there.  As soon as I told them we were coming for special photos and to show her Baby Riley they went to so much trouble to prepare her for us all.  She really looked beautiful.  She could not take her eyes off Chris and baby Riley.  I know she knew Chris was her grandson and that he had her great grandson with him.

Marvellous! - 4 Generations!

We are arranging to take Riley and all the family to meet Bruce’s Mum – Vera.  She is 94 years old and still lives in her own home.  She is an amazing person.  She brought up 4 wonderful sons including Bruce.   She now has many grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  She is really looking forward to meeting Riley.

We have 2 more members of the family to introduce you to.

Very Cute Christmas Canines - Ebony And Bella! I Wonder Which One Is Ebony?

Ebony is 4 on the 31st October and Bella is 5 years and 4 months.  Ebony is the ADHD of dogs.  She is a total delight.  If you have ever seen Miley and me, then Ebony fits the picture well.  She is so full of energy as well as so fit and well.  She loves with all her heart.  Her favourite toy is her yellow duck.

Bella is as her name implies – beautiful.  However, she is a sickly dog.  She has taken several fits and has an immune disorder.  She is under the care of the best Veterinary practice in the world and the winner of the NSW Small Business Award – Coreen Avenue Veterinary Practice Penrith.  This is run by Dr Nicole McMillan and a brilliant staff.  They look after Bella brilliantly.  I could not ask for more.

Enough of my wonderful family for the moment and I definitely will share other things with you when they come to hand.

I studied up on Article Marketing and wrote my first 3 articles today.  One was about making money on eBay to highlight my website and eBook that will be launching any day now.  One was about list building and one was about Blogging.  Each of these articles points to one of my websites that are of the same category.

I have a program called Mass Article Submitter through which I joined the major article submission services including EZine Articles and it stores all of my information about each of these article sites.  I then lodged the article and all the information about the article – then merely clicked a button and the articles all went off automatically to all of the submission sites.   Wow!  That was great so I will let you know how I have gone.

I also shared with you that I have joined Google Analytics which I have put the code on to all my sites and it comes up with the statistics for each site.  I have had quite a few registered visitors to this Blog site, several to my new list building site and a few to my eBay site I have not officially launched yet, so I think that is rather special.

I am looking forward to seeing the growth of traffic over these weeks.

It is very important for me to build great relationships with people.

A few minutes ago I upgraded my Blog in WordPress to the newest version.

I am very proud of that, as I paid someone to do this before at a cost of $12.95 US each time.   I realised this would be rather an expensive exercise if I kept paying someone else,  as WordPress has upgrades occurring fairly frequently now.  I searched and found out how to do it and simplified the steps, summarising them for future reference.  I then thought that if this was a new learning curve for me that it may be for others too and I wanted to assist others to be able to do it too.  That is why I want to share these steps with you in a moment.

Isn’t it funny how easy something becomes once you have mastered it? but how difficult and impossible it all seemed before that?

I simply went in to my admin area for my Blog – http://www.YourBlogName.com/wp-admin using  my username and password. I then scrolled down the left-hand side  to the Tools section.

I then scrolled a little further down to the word Export and clicked on the appropriate words that told me to export the file to my desktop which then saved it as an xml file.

I then left this file on my Desktop just in case anything went wrong with my intended WordPress upgrade and also so I would be able to find it easily if I needed to reinstal this last version.

If I had to reinstal this version because, for some rare reason the Upgrade failed,  I would then be able to use the Import section, also found down in the Tools section, to reimport this last version I had saved on my desktop, which would in turn recover my WordPress Blog back to the original version I was using before the upgrade, so that everything I had on my Blog before would be restored to the way it had been before.  This is all very comforting to know if something does perchance go wrong with the Upgrade, which is pretty rare.

I then scrolled down to the word “Upgrade”, also housed down in the Tools section and, feeling safe, as I had exported my last version and saved it to the desktop, I then clicked “Upgrade Automatically”, and WordPress lets you know, in a message that soon appears on this same screen,  when it has upgraded successfully.

I then went to my Desktop and transferred the exported file in to my usual folder I am now saving these upgrades in to which I called WordPress Upgrades, but you could call whatever you like that assists you to easily locate that folder.

I hope this information has been helpful to you.  I know it really would have been extremely helpful to me when I was paying others to do all this for me.

I am thrilled to say the Traffic to my Blog has increased, as to my List Building site.

I have spent a considerable amount of time watching Alex Jeffrey’s videos on List Building and they are brilliant. I am learning many great things from them.

When I look back and see where I was before with Internet Marketing and eBay and my knowledge, or lack therof then, to where I am now, I am totally thrilled with my progress.  Thanks so much Alex Jeffreys, John Thornhill, Garry Parkes, Daniel Sumner, Dave Nicholson, Avril Harper, Tony Sharpe and Steve Barrows.

Before I used to often say to my husband it was all too overwhelming and that I just did not know where to start, and that I didn’t think I would ever be able to do it at all.

However, I have now set my plans and goals as Alex Jeffrey’s has explained and am taking one step at a time towards my yearly, 3 monthly, monthly, daily goals. I know where I am heading now. I feel like a ship that has a compass now rather than how I felt before like I was wandering aimlessly all over the oceans never knowing where to head.

I do have a problem though.  One that I would really love the answer to please, so if you are reading my Blog and can help me, I would be really grateful.

I love to insert pictures and videos in to my Blog and used to be able to have them sit centrally.  However, nothing I am doing seems to be working now.

I tried using <center> and </center> before and after the pictures,  in the html view but that did not work.  I also clicked on the image and used the centre justification.  That did not work either.  I also, before inserting the image, placed my cursor at the centre and then inserted the image and it showed as being central to my view, but when published it is not.

Anyone who can help here, thanks so much.

Wow!  What a journey!  What an incredible ride!

I would be so pleased, if, after reading, you feel similar has also happened to you on your journey to make money online, then  it would be great if you could leave me a comment about this please, and I really look forward to you doing so.

In order for you to understand a little of the background to  my journey to make money online so far, I am going to share this background briefly with you over  the next few paragraphs, however, I have also discussed much of  this journey in more detail in my initial postings that are now housed in the archive section, with some also still showing on the main page.

I want to share with you that thousands of our hard-earned dollars had  been lost over a couple of years, up until recently, during my journey to make money online, and I was really going absolutely nowhere on this Internet Marketing/making money online venture I had commenced after my 6 years’  hospitalisation, which I had invested  in in order to help us financially, to survive, give us an extra needed income, and so we would  not lose our beloved home of 31 years.

To briefly share with you,  I had to spend the majority of 6 years in hospital as the result of a freak accident I had at school when teaching, which resulted in me not only losing my beloved teaching career, but also in me undergoing, during that time, over 45 anaesthetics, 3 major surgeries, several almost critical blood infections, several dangerous overdoses of my essential medication, 100s of canulas, portacaths etc and, to be honest, I was an extremely ill person, lucky to be alive, and in loads of pain, having to have special strong pain medications given to me that could only be given in a hospital environment.  It really was an incredible journey.

How did this all happen?   Well!  I  had had a freak accident at school several years ago (teaching was my wonderful career until then.  I totally loved it and miss it terribly), that was to hospitalise me for the majority of 6 years after.  I really was a very sick person indeed over these years, as well as after, and my family and I definitely went on an incredible journey for survival during that time, and with legal bills, medical bills, teenage children to bring up, as well as supporting my Mum who came to live with us who developed Alzheimer’s, the loss of my income, and my husband trying to support all these family members and financial issues on only his salary, this all became a huge challenge, that is for sure, with the result it ate heavily in to our finances, investment, and our property etc.

I am not, and never have been, and never will be,  a person to sit down and feel sorry for myself and so investigated, when I had good days/ times -  numerous ways I could perhaps build a second much-needed income for us in order to assist us to pay the bills etc, but, sadly, I was to come across many shonksters on this journey, and many sham programs as well, that were out there that cost money with most of them disillusioning me.

During this time, being extremely green about Internet Marketing and how to do it, but genuinely wanting to learn about it so much,  we spent thousands of dollars in the belief that these programs would work, as we trusted they were created by experts so, having no fears about my commitment to anything, my stickability, my no-give up character, my hard work ethic, my eagerness to learn, grow, share and teach others what I have learned, and knowing I would put my heart and soul in to anything that was presented to me we were told would work with such  input, we went along with these programs only to actually lose thousands of dollars on this journey, and these were thousands we definitely could not afford.    It was shattering too as some of these people were to have knowledge, in brief, of our journey and my health etc. to this date.

I did not give up because I knew this is a big world and not everyone involved in this business is a shonkster – that there had to be genuine people and programs out there.  I am so glad I believed that – that all is not bad just because of a few.

What was missing with these other programs and people who sold them then?  I believe it is because they did not show themselves as genuinely wanting to build a relationship with the people they were selling to, nor really care about people’s current or future success with their programs, but, instead, seemingly just  taking the money as that was all they really seemed to have been interested in, with them just disappearing off the scene.   Also, no support is a big factor.  It is not good at all realising you are just – the money!!!    Then, when you are lost?  Well!  Bad luck about that as there is no-one there to help you with the follow-through of their program, as they are long gone, counting their money.

But!  There are genuine people out there – so please don’t stop reading, but please keep believing…

I never taught like that in my classroom and never would have,  and as I continue on my journey and continue to grow, as I will, I know I will never do that to the people who invest in their belief and trust in me, and  I know I will always share things and learning curves with them to make their journeys a great deal easier than mine has been.

I never did this when I was involved in Network Marketing MLM either, and would never have dreamed of doing so.  175 people joined my team in a 2 year period by me merely speaking with them over the phone.  I apparently broke a record in Australia for this during this time, in this type of Marketing.  I could not build Network Marketing MLM the way others could because of my physical disabilities but I did not let this bother me.  I found this way using the phone to be able to do so.  I loved meeting people this way.  I had never met them before my phone calls to them which resulted because they had been interested in my ad about working from home.  I, right from day one, knew Network Marketing was about building relationships, genuinely, with people who trusted me, knew I would train them, that I really would follow through with them, that I would always continue to be there for them and knew I would be their friends, and I knew, and loved the fact, I was building a friendship that would last forever and that I would always be there to help them on their journey.  They are still my friends to this day.

To me, Internet Marketing is no different.  This is a business about building relationships too.  People need to know that they can trust you, and that is what I want people to feel about me, and that is what I want to feel of others.

Back on to my journey to making money online in the Internet Marketing world, and why I am so glad I did not give up because of those previous shonksters, and did not continue thinking nothing, and no-one out there, could ever be trusted, then, as if by magic, along came some absolutely fabulous programs and mentors who didn’t charge an arm and a leg for their programs and are truly there to assist and support you on your journey, which is so vitally important.  They care about your journey and success and continued success.  They are there for you to assist you and support you .  You are NOT just the money!    How totally refreshing!!!

I just wondered, you know,  if similar may have happened to you on your journey, and whether you may have lost money along the way, or maybe even sometimes a great deal of money, and whether you believed there was nothing and noone in this business to trust, and would truly love you to comment on any of this and share this with me or anything else you would like to share.

It is so refreshing to have finally found people and programs I really do trust and am truly achieving with.  I am not a guru, and I know I have a long way to go as life is about learning, growing and sharing this with others, but I know I  have learned a lot now and have made much progress, and those things I have learned I am looking forward to sharing with others, which is fabulous, that is totally for sure.

I joined John Thornhill’s Mastery Coaching Class early this year, after not being able to complete his Coaching program last year due to chronic illness.  John is an eBay PowerSeller and a very successful Internet Marketer.  I have nothing but the greatest faith in him and his team – Dave Nicholson, Steve Barrows, Daniel Sumner.

I am about to launch my 1st eBook very soon and also launch my first website related to that eBook.  It will be launched in a couple of weeks.  John and Dave have said it is a very excellent eBook, innovative,  and they are going to support me in its launch, which is a truly great honour.  I have them, and their team,  to thank so much for reaching this point.  I also have others I have built friendships and relationships over the months who are going to support me in the book’s launch – Avril Harper, Tony Sharpe.

I have created my own Sales Page, with Optin for a 7 Part MiniCourse I also created, and installed my Buy Now Button which is actually linked to ClickBank, and, wow – it actually works.  I am in the process of getting ClickBank approval for my product.  I have also created my own Affiliate’s page, Thank you page, videos, audios etc for the book and the site – have tested all the links and they all go to the place they are supposed to go to – Wow!

I tell you this feels like a miracle because a few weeks ago I did not understand anything.

Of course, none of this would have worked if I had not been prepared to go through the learning curves, jump the hurdles, stick with it all, seek out help if needed and NOT GIVE UP.

John, a few weeks ago recommended, and he does not recommend lightly, Alex Jeffrey’s coaching program to complement his.

I am totally blown away by Alex and his program and his support and also to Garry Parkes.  I am sooooooooooo thrilled I have joined.

I was extremely scared and tentative about my knowledge as compared to others in Alex’s program, but Alex took the time to personally contact me and explain how it is ok to be where you are at as everyone is at a different place on the journey, but that as long as you stay on the journey and keep working at it, you will succeed.

I feel so incredibly positive about this program and working with Alex and Garry, I know I will be able to continue to move forward even more.

Since I joined Alex’s program, and as a result of  his training, I have set in place my Goals for the next year, next 90 days, next month and also work my daily plan, as well as my to do list and my done list for each day.

I must admit I was already in the habit of doing this kind of thing fairly similarly as I was always a Goal Setter during my teaching career,  and actually taught many other teachers Goal Setting techniques in the schools I was teaching in,  and also taught other teachers and executives in the district how to do this, and the importance of doing it, but Alex highlighted numerous other ways of doing this as well, which I have also begun to implement.

Mind Mapping is something I also taught at school and I found it to be a brilliant tool .  I used it frequently in my classroom with the children and taught them how to Mind Map.  I was fortunate to also be able to teach children to read, the Gifted and Talented children in the school, the Opportunity Class children as well as children who had learning and behavioural challenges.  I used this Mind Mapping technique with all of them.  It is fantastic.  I had not used it for years since the accident so am just getting myself back in tune using it again.

Already I have learned so much from Alex and I thank him very much and look forward excitedly to learning and growing even more, which I am sure I will.  Thanks heaps also Garry.

I am definitely a beginner at getting traffic to my blog and my sites but I am a willing learner.  I have never understood  Social Networking and how great it is for building relationships, which in turn creates genuine traffic for me and me for others, but Alex is teaching it to us.  I have now joined Twitter and continuing to learn about it.  I will be Twittering to build Internet Marketing business relationships.

I had joined FaceBook in the past, but did not understand what to do with it but am also learning about it.  I also joined YouTube ages ago and created about 4 videos there and, after learning how to take the code correctly from there, used a couple of the videos on websites and also on my blog.   I have learned so much about the power of YouTube from Maria Andros and Alex and will be putting those ideas in to action as well.  So much to learn but soooooooooo exciting.

I am looking forward to keeping you updated with how I am going with my learning and how I am building relationships and traffic.

Just over 3 years ago I was to meet a very special friend, and also clever Internet Marketer called Tony Sharpe.  He lives in the U.K.  He is brilliant, and a truly great and loyal friend.   He created The System G Formula – The ULTIMATE Make Money Online Video Course! which is really excellent, and he also really helps me along my learning  journey too,  for which I am extremely grateful.

I also have the greatest faith in Avril Harper an eBay PowerSeller, Writer, Mentor, Trainer and Internet Marketer, also from the UK.

I am so glad I have met all these people and am working mostly with John and Alex at the moment, with Tony always there to help me too with his great knowledge and brilliant ideas.

I feel truly blessed. I know I am in the right place at the right time now.   I really want to be the best marketer I can possibly be and emulate Alex, John, Avril and Tony.  I also know I will be able to work Avril’s program in the future as I trust her implicitly too.

It is a fabulous feeling when you feel, and know, you are now even further down along the road to understanding and succeeding, when it truly all seemed just  like double-dutch before, and with no money at all being made, and with it never seeming like it was possible that you would ever make any money,  nor ever understand it all I reiterate it is now so truly great to be where I am now.  As I said before, I still have a way to go, but I know I have also made much headway, and am beginning to gain confidence again.  Thanks so much Alex.

I also started working eBay late last year, and am having success there too now.  That was an immense learning curve before it all gelled it was really not as hard as I had thought it was, but this also being after I had spent a fortune on trying to learn how to do it, as well as being overwhelmed with all the information that came at me during that time.

But all this learning and journey has positive results as it  is now the focus of my first eBook I am just about to launch, so I can share with people how they can make money with eBay quickly and easily without having to spend thousands on finding out how to, nor have to be overwhelmed by, with a person who is a real person and is there and cares.  My eBook will simplify this journey for sure at thousands cheaper than it cost me, but more about that when I am ready to launch it.

I have not added to my Blog for ages.  There have been valid reasons.

However, I am back now and ready to share lots of information with you from now on.

Today I  thought I would concentrate on 5 Easy Ways To Find Products To Sell On eBay.

In reference to the Title of my Blog today, I expect the answer to this question actually is determined by one’s understanding, or definition of, the word “easy. “

I believe that the fastest and easiest way for someone to make reasonably good money fairly quickly on the Internet, is by selling items on eBay. This is also great if your desire is to also earn money with other types of Internet Marketing and Network Marketing ventures you need to learn, so that you are earning money with eBay whilst you are learning the other methods.

However, one can earn an excellent income from eBay alone.

What could be simpler to achieving this than a simple-to-understand and follow a 5 step process.

1. Find something to sell.

2. Take a photograph of it, and write a description about it.

3. Upload your listing and photograph to eBay.

4. Collect your money.

5. Post your sale item.

I mean, what could be easier than that?

However I imagine what a lot of people mighy actually  question is how they can easily find, or get, profitable products to sell on eBay.

It is my experience this is what both newbies, and even some experienced eBayer sellers, find hard.

So, in today’s Blog entry, I want to draw attention to 5 extremely easy ways to find, or get products to sell, without even leaving your computer. This will be easy enough to do for everyone.

1. It Is A Must To Have A Photograph

There is definitely no item listed on eBay, or any other online auction sites, that does not get heaps better results when they have a photograph or image included with the listing. Actually, it is a fact that the majority of items that are listed on eBay that do not display any photograph at all, with that item ultimately selling, more often than not fetch at least 20% less for the item than those that do actually display a photograph of the item.

However, in some categories these results can be even higher. For example, clothing items put up for auction without a photograph average an almost 80% lower selling price than those that display a photograph. In fact, as a result of one’s knowledge of all of this, it would then seem to be quite an easy thing to do to look around eBay for those items that do not have photos, purchase them and then re-list them as your own, with a photograph. I am certain this would mean certain money in the pocket.

2. Find A Badly Listed Item.

There are numerous reasons why a people’s listings fail to draw any significant bids. The reasons for this could be such things as: a bad title; a short, or poor description; inserting the item in the wrong category; misspellings, etc. Anybody can locate these sorts of items by browsing around the auction site, but actually there is a simpler way.

Select the categories you are interested in, and take a quick look down the Search feature for the items that are finishing within the next hour. This is where you will uncover excellent deals that have not succeeded in attracting any bids for the reasons already discussed.

3. Not So Good Times

When reading any book on the topic of eBay one will find pointers as to when the best time to finish auctions is.   Mostly it is suggested the best time to list items are Sunday afternoon and evenings, and Wednesday evenings.   This can be different sometimes, as suggested by some experts that business-related items are best listed Monday or Tuesday during office hours. If one recognizes that there are times when they will get higher bids for their items then it is feasible to understand there must also be times when if an auction ends at a certain time one will not do so well.

It is understandable to think if one has an auction that finishes between say 5 am and 8 am on a Monday morning they will not have too many people waiting to place last minute bids in order to move the price up.   Once again, you could purchase those types of items, re-list them and set your auctions to finish at a better time so you can easily make a 20% or more profit for very little effort.

4. Purchase Collections

One of the simplest ways to make money on eBay is to make a profit from other peoples’ laziness or lack of knowledge. For example, if somebody has a collection of 10 china dogs, then it is a fact that if all ten were listed as a collection in a single listing, then they will earn less profit doing this than if they listed each item separately.

However, it is astounding how many sellers cannot be bothered to take the time to do this. In the past I have known of others who have bought a collection of items and actually made more from selling each individual item than had been paid for the entire collection.

5. Other Online Auctions.

Well over 95% of all online auction sales occur on eBay. eBay, by far has the largest number of registered buyers and items listed for sale at their auction site. Therefore, items offered for sale on eBay really do get the best prices. So it is a great idea to search around for some of the smaller online auction sites, because in many cases items listed with them will not draw such good prices as could be achieved on eBay. Then all one would have to do is purchase from them and re-list on eBay for a profit.

So, I hope that these ideas have been helpful as 5 easy ideas for you to consider, and maybe you could give some of them, or of all of them,  a try.

1. You will get rich quick. Marketing on the internet needs a lot of work. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It takes much time in the learning and failing before you will succeed. However, your success is entirely up to you. One will only reap what they sow.

2. You won’t make any money. As already mentioned, one will reap what they sow. Your key to success really and truly though is through your being persistent and consistent. If you are willing to learn and accept “failures?” (not getting it right a few times), from time to time, by learning from your mistakes and applying that knowledge – the money will eventually come. It is so important not to give up. There are an enormous amount of people who truly do make money this way.

3. Anyone can do this. If you tell yourself there is nothing to this, that this is so easy, then you will set yourself up for guaranteed failure. This is a true profession, and as such it takes a lot of discipline, and, most of all, absolutely requires the willingness to learn. To learn Internet Marketing takes a lot of hard work and also an open mind. You have to be willing to embrace new ideas as they emerge, and take it seriously.

4. Not everyone can do this. This is also not true at all. As long as you are willing to free your mind to skepticisms, and negativisms such as these, then you have definitely taken your first step forward to achievement. While this professional business takes an amount of time to figure out, it really is not that hard to figure out. Remember the only person stopping you from learning and achieving with this is you!

5. It is too hard. Look within yourself. There is an online internet business within you. It is time to ask yourself a few questions. What do you know? What do you like? What do you need that has not been created yet? The answers to these questions, and questions similar to these, are the beginnings of you having the ability to set yourself apart from the crowd.

6. It will be easy. Believe me it will get easier, but you will have to do lots of studying and research. You will need to spend many hours brainstorming. You will need to spend many hours reading, writing, learning and implementing to find what works and what doesn’t. It will get tedious and hard to stick to. But it is important to persevere, because your reward will come.

7. It will only require 2-3 hours a day. This is true later on down the track when at some point you will be able to automate most of your efforts. However, in the beginning, putting in long hours is not unheard of. I have spent many 18 hour days in front of my computer.

8. This is not a real job. Yeah right! You will come across many skeptics, or worse than that, people who do not disclose to you their skepticism but, instead, merely look at you in a funny way. Believe me this is a real job. You will be just as exhausted from working and researching all day as you would be slinging around very heavy sacks of flour all day. When you are mentally exhausted you will also be physically exhausted. You work hard; so it is important to not allow the people who minimize your efforts get to you. Just smile.

9. The only good reason to do this is for the money. That could not be further from the truth. There is a lot to gain. The money is a plus of course. However, learning will always make you a better person. If you are happy with yourself, everyone else will be too. And, as a bonus, you can’t beat the hours.

10. It takes years to learn an online business. This is not true. The best suggestion is to study hard. Read your newsletters and the articles in them. Listen to those who are already successful. Learn from those who are already successful. They are already telling you what to do and how to do it. Now you just need to listen and learn.
